The process is suitable particularly for thinner and softer materials. The result is chopped pieces on a sheet of background material - silicone paper or PET liner. There is a possibility of combination of cutting and chopping for some materials and usages.
This type of cut improves assembly efficiency, which consequently results in overall production savings.
